and cultivate several thousand hectares of vines themselves.
Their talents lie in the creation of Champagne wines that reflect the style of the brand. They are also blessed with a certain commercial dynamism that, through the centuries, has made Champagne Wines the incontestable lifestyle reference.
Champagne Houses account for two-thirds of production and 90% of exports.
The Champagne Houses Union, created in 1882 to organise the fight against phylloxera and defend the name ‘Champagne’, governs most of the Champagne Houses.
